Optimalno delovanje anaerobnih reaktorjev je zelo težko vzdrževati. Če je proces moten, potem lahko pride do inhibicije in zmanjšane produkcije metana. V najslabšem primeru reaktorji prenehajo delovati. Na BPE Vučja vas smo proučevali nenadno inhibicijo, ki je bila posledica prekomernega doziranja substratov. Objavili smo naslednji članek:

S kombinacijo različnih substratov lahko bistveno izboljšamo izplen metana pri procesu anaerobne presnove.
S kombinacijo encimske in ultrazvočne predobdelave primarnega in sekundarnega blata iz ČN smo izboljšali anaerobno presnovo in povečali izplen metana. Povezava do objavljenega članka:
